Today's challenge is: Faceless Self-Portrait. Well, who better to emulate than the master of the faceless self-portrait, Rene Magritte? While I didn't have a way to suspend my apple in mid air, I tried to mimic the look of Magritte's painting The Son of Man, otherwise known as the painting of a man in a bowler hat with a green apple in front of his face. It's an iconic work of art that has even made a prominent place in today's culture by featuring in movies like the 1999 remake of The Thomas Crown Affair. Look it up along with Magritte's other surrealist works!
