At first I had no idea what I was going to do for today's 'in water' challenge. Then I decided to see if I could capture something cool by dropping food coloring into a cup of water. I wasn't sure if I could get some good photos before it all blended together, but I was able to catch a couple. So here is the result. I did a drop of blue and a drop of yellow just for some contrast.
Again, because this was a glass mug it was tough to get all the little shadows and reflections but more than that I wanted to make sure that the drops of dye actually looked like they were floating down into the water. While I would liked to have spent more time refining it, again, I think it turned out pretty well for a one-day drawing.
