Experimenting with Alcohol Inks

A while ago I received some alcohol inks as a gift and just this Christmas I got some Yupo paper. If you've never heard of Yupo paper don't feel bad - I'd never heard of it either until I did a search on what types of surfaces would work best with alcohol inks.

Yupo paper a non-absorbent, synthetic paper that works well with watercolors and inks because it allows for blending and keeps colors brilliant, compared to absorbent papers, without buckling no matter how much fluid you use. I had used alcohol inks on tile before but this time I tried the Yupo paper to create some colorful bookmarks. I really like the results! Now my question is, what other surfaces would work well with alcohol inks? Have you tried any unusual surfaces? Post your comments below!
